The gull roost held the 3 (2 2cy, 3cy) recently regular Glaucous Gulls (GE), the 2cy Iceland Gull, a 4cy Caspian Gull and 3 (2 3cy, adult) Yellow-legged Gulls (PJ).

A large power-boat was using the whole area of the lake this morning and most of the wildfowl had taken refuge on the Swag and, to a lesser extent, the Lagoon. Totals included 80 Tufted Ducks, 1 Pochard, 21 Goldeneye, 1 Goosander, 16 Wigeon and 2 Gadwall. 6 Buzzards were soaring over the Swag and a Raven flew over the North Shore (GE). The gull roost held 2 2cy Glaucous Gulls, 2 (2cy, 3cy) Iceland Gulls, an adult Mediterranean Gull, an adult Yellow-legged Gull and 55 Waxwings again flew north along the West Shore (CM et al).

Gulls roosting tonight 3 (2 2cy, 3cy) Glaucous Gulls, 2 (2cy and a new 3cy) Iceland Gull, a 4cy Caspian Gull adult Yellow-legged Gull, adult Mediterranean Gull,  (PJ, JA)

40 Waxwings were feeding at the junction of the A5 and Howdle's Lane, Brownhills.

At Stubber's Green the 3cy Iceland Gull and 2cy Glaucous Gull were seen during the day (PJ, JA).

It was good to see a small crowd of gull watchers on the south shore this evening. The gull roost held a 3cy Kumlien's Gull, 3 (2 2cy, 3cy) Glaucous Gulls, one a different 2cy.Also 2 (2cy and a new 3cy) Iceland Gull, a 4cy Caspian Gull and 2 3cy Yellow-legged Gulls (PJ, PDH, IW, AR et al)
12 Waxwings were by the bus stop opposite Deakin Avenue on the A5 at Brownhills (GE).

In the roost a 3cy Kumlien's Gull, 2 2cy Glaucous Gulls. Also 2cy Iceland Gull, adult Mediterranean Gull and 3 3cy Yellow-legged Gulls (PJ, EGP, RC et al) The large gulls were counted tonight and 5-6000 were present in the main group. An exceptional count for this time of year (IW)

Weather conditions did not help tonight with misty and wet conditions. In the roost a 3cy Kumlien's Gull,  2cy Glaucous Gull. Also 2cy Iceland Gull and 3 3cy Yellow-legged Gulls (PJ, IW)

A female Brambling was at the feeding station (PDH)
The weather was even worse than last night. Roost highlight was 'in flight' and foggy views of a 2cy Glaucous Gull. (PDH, PJ, IW)

2 Mealy Redpoll were at the feeding station along with a Willow Tit. A Buzzard was eating mealworms at the feeding station. At dusk a Long-eared Owl was being mobbed by Magpies in a hawthorn hedge (IW)
