Sat 15th The monthly WeBS count produced the following totals: 62 Mute Swans, 43 Canada Geese, 168 Mallard, 76 Tufted Ducks, 4 Grey Herons, 1 Cormorant, 37 Great Crested Grebes, 2 Little Grebes, 14 Moorhens, 515 Coot, 18 Lapwings, 6 Common Terns and an adult or near adult Yellow-legged Gull (GE).

On Cuckoo Bank there was a 'ring-tail' Hen Harrier, a Corn Bunting, 2 Whinchats, 3 Wheatears, a Yellow Wagtail and good numbers of Whitethroats, Reed Warblers etc.
