Sun 1st Three Mediterranean Gulls roosted but only one was the same as last night's birds meaning at least 5 have been present over the weekend.
Mon 2nd The Great Northern Diver was showing well near the Water-ski Club during the morning (SBi).
Tues 3rd The Great Northern Diver was present along with 39 Goldeneye, 12 Goosanders, 149 Tufted Ducks, 2 Pochard, 16 Wigeon, 16 Cormorants, 26 Lapwings and 2 Buzzards (GE). The gull roost held a 4cy Caspian Gull, adult Yellow-legged Gull and an adult Mediterranean Gull.
Wed 4th A 4cy Caspian Gull, 2 adult Mediterranean Gulls, an adult Yellow-legged Gull and a leucistic Black-headed Gull all roosted.
Thurs 5th The Great Northern Diver was still present.
Fri 6th A Red Kite drifted west over Clayhanger at around 10:30. 
Sat 7th  Several boats were on the lake and the Great Northern Diver had flown to Ryder's Mere by the afternoon (PW). Two adult Mediterranean Gulls roosted.
Sun 8th The Great Northern Diver had returned and in the roost there was an adult Mediterranean Gull and an adult Yellow-legged Gull.
Mon 9th No records.
Tues 10th The monthly Wetland Bird Survey (WeBS) produced the following totals: 73 Mute Swans, 35 Canada Geese, 12 Wigeon, 2 Gadwall, 127 Mallard, 162 Tufted Ducks, 38 Goldeneye, 6 Goosanders, 1 Grey Heron, 16 Cormorants, 4 Little Grebes, 25 Great Crested Grebes, 11 Moorhens, 348 Coot, 2 Snipe, 2 Jack Snipe, 38 Lapwings, 1 Ringed Plover, a Kingfisher and a Grey Wagtail. Four Buzzards were over the North Heath and Norton Bog and a pair of Stonechats was present with the male occasionally singing. There was no sign of the Great Northern Diver (GE).
Wed 11th Some of the Red Deer were in the Anglesey Basin (images BIC)
Thurs 12th The gull roost held a 3cy Caspian Gull, an adult Yellow-legged Gull and a leucistic Black-headed Gull.
A Black-necked Grebe was at Stubber's Green.

Fri 13th No records.
Sat 14th No records.
Sun 15th The roost held a 3cy Caspian Gull, 2 (3cy, adult) Yellow-legged Gulls and a leucistic Black-headed Gull.
Mon 16th The 3cy Yellow-legged Gull roosted again.
Tues 17th  
Weds 18th  
Thurs 19th 4cy Yellow-legged Gull, 9 Sand Martins and 2 Oystercatchers
A Little Egret has been seen on several occasions this week around the brook behind Highfields Road and Wharf Lane
Fri 20th Adult and 3cy Yellow-legged Gulls
Sat 21st 3cy Caspian Gull (JA) and 4cy Yellow-legged Gull
A Common Sandpiper was present in the morning (CM)
Sun 22nd Adult Yellow-legged Gull and 3cy Mediterranean Gull in the roost. Also a pair of Garganey (record shot JA) and 3 Oystercatchers
Mon 23rd Mediterranean Gull 2nd.y at 12.30 circled and flew out East. 7 Sand Martins (ICW)
Tues 24th  
Weds 25th Nothing of interest in the roost. 2 Kingfishers flew across the lake. Daubentons and Noctule bats at dusk
Thur 26th 2 Brent Geese present until Dusk. The birds were seen earlier in the day at Stubbers Green (images courtesy of @wyrleybirder on Twitter)
