Thurs 1st 3 Stonechats and 4 Blackcaps were present and 2 Ravens were over No Man's Bank (PW).
Fri 2nd A Crossbill flew over to the north (PW).

Tues 6th A Grey Wagtail, 2 Stonechats were present and over 100 Redwings flew south-east (PW).

Sun 11th A Clouded Yellow was feeding on the north-shore hawkbits. An adult and juvenile Oystercatcher and 2 Stonechats were also present (PW).

Female Common Darter (Mickey at Rawshutterbug
The 2 Oystercatchers and 2 Stonechats were present along with 10 Redwings, a Raven, a Kingfisher and 8 Buzzards (PW) whilst at Clayhanger/Ryder's Mere a Rough-legged Buzzard was seen (KC, GC).
Tues 13th 3 adult Whooper Swans were with the Mute Swans on the south shore during the afternoon, departing over the dam at around 16:20. A Redshank, a Dunlin, 2 Oystercatchers, a Kingfisher and at least 3 Stonechats were also present (PW).
Wed 14th The 2 Oystercatchers and Redshank were present along with 2 Stonechats, 11 Little Grebes and several Redwings passed over (PW).

Fly Agaric (PTr)
Thurs 15th The 2 Oystercatchers, Redshank and 2 Buzzards were present and 34 Fieldfares and several Redwings flew over (PW).
Fri 16th The monthly WeBS counts produced the following totals: 72 Mute Swans, 2 Greylag Geese, 76 Canada Geese, 75 Wigeon, 2 Gadwall, 14 Teal, 145 Mallard, 8 Pochard, 212 Tufted Ducks, 4 Cormorants, 2 Grey Herons, 17 Little Grebes, 18 Great Crested Grebes, 22 Moorhens, 813 Coot, 2 Oystercatchers, 82 Lapwings, 44 Snipe and a Kingfisher. A total of 58 species was recorded including 2 Ravens, 2 Buzzards, 2 Willow Tits, 39 Fieldfares, 3 Stonechats (2 on the North Heath and one on Norton Bog hill), 2 Chiffchaffs and a Grey Wagtail (GE).
Sat 17th The 2 Oystercatchers were present and many Redwings passed over to the west (PW).

Tues 20th A Peregrine scattered the Coot flock and briefly landed on a pylon before moving on. The 2 Oystercatchers, Redshank and 2 Stonechats were present and several Redwings and Fieldfares flew west (PW).
Wed 21st The 2 Stonechats were on the North Heath (PW).
Thurs 22nd A Rock Pipit was on Target Point and at 18;30 both a Short-eared Owl and a Barn Owl were hunting together over the North Heath where there were also 2 Stonechats and 2 Green Woodpeckers (PW). Other totals included 53 Mute Swans, over 30 Canada Geese, 2 Greylag Geese, 42 Wigeon, 5 Gadwall, 3 Teal, 11 Pochard, a Cormorant, 7 Little Grebes, a Kingfisher, a Raven, a male Sparrowhawk, a Grey Wagtail and 4 Skylarks flew over along with several Siskins and a Yellowhammer (CM).

Mon 26th Two Jack Snipe, 79 Snipe, 2 Stonechats and 2 Chiffchaffs were present (ICW).

Wed 28th A Little Egret and 2 Stonechats were present (PW, GR).
Thurs 29th The Little Egret was still present (GR).
Fri 30th The 2 Stonechats were present and over 50 Fieldfares passed over (PW).
On the eastern edge of Cuckoo Bank a Yellow-browed Warbler was found in the scrub opposite the junction of Stables Way and Mavor Avenue (JGH).
