Sat 1st On Cuckoo Bank there were about 60 Meadow Pipits, 20 Skylarks, 7 Bullfinches, a Swallow and a Wheatear (GHa).
Sun 2nd Four Redwings flew west, hundreds of Meadow Pipits were on the North Shore, many Chiffchaffs were in the bushes and 2 pairs of Stonechats were present (PW). Three Kingfishers were seen. A 1cy Caspian Gull and 3 Yellow-legged Gulls roosted and both Noctule and pipistrelle were over the west shore wood.
On Cuckoo Bank there were 2 Ravens, 100 Skylarks, 300 Meadow Pipits, 3 Stonechats, a Whitethroat and a female Merlin.
Mon 3rd A pair of Stonechats and 3 Redwings were seen and at dusk 59 Snipe flew from the North Heath towards Norton Bog (PW). The Swag held 1 Pochard, 1 Gadwall, 8 Wigeon and 37 Tufted Ducks with many more presumably on the unchecked Lagoon (GE).
On Cuckoo Bank there were 9 Redwings, 3 Yellowhammers, 70 Meadow Pipits and 25 Skylarks.
Tues 4th Two Stonechats were present and a small Common Lizard was on the boardwalk (PW).
Wed 5th 37 Wigeon and 4 Pochard were on the Swag. Nine Little Grebes, 9 Teal, 57 Lapwings, a Kingfisher, 2 Stonechats, 6 Redwings, 15 Chiffchaffs, 2 Blackcaps, 2 Grey Wagtails and a Raven were also present. Five Red Admirals, several Common Darters and a Migrant Hawker were also noted (GE).
Thurs 6th On Cuckoo Bank there were around 50 Meadow Pipits, 60 Skylarks, 2 Chiffchaffs and a Swallow (GHa).
Fri 7th No records
Sat 8th On Cuckoo Bank there were about 70 Skylarks, 6 Mistle Thrushes, 9 Fieldfares, 15 Redwings, 2 Ravens, 2 Chiffchaffs, 7 Yellowhammers, 3 Kestrels, 3 Stock Doves, 18 Lesser Redpolls, 3 Siskins and 2 Cormorants (GHa).
Sun 9th Four Stonechats were on the North Heath (PW)
Mon 10th A Rock Pipit and 4 Grey Wagtails were on the dam during the early morning. 5 Chiffchaffs, a Blackcap and 2 Kingfishers were noted and on the Swag there were 134 Tufted Ducks, 9 Pochard, 25 Wigeon and 2 Shovelers (GE).
On Cuckoo Bank there were 40 Skylarks, 40 Redwings, 18 redpolls and a Peregrine (GHa).
Tues 11th Two Stonechats were on the North Heath (JHu).

Fri 14th
A Rock Pipit was on the south end of the dam during the early morning (GE).

Sat 15th No records
Sun 16th 20 Fieldfares and 2 Stonechats were present (PW).
Mon 17th No sign of the Rock Pipit today but 2 Ravens, 2 Stonechats, 12 Skylarks, a Grey Wagtail and a Chiffchaff were noted (GE).
Tues 18th The monthly WeBS count produced 85 Mute Swans, 55 Canada Geese, 32 Wigeon, 7 Teal, 144 Mallard, 1 Shoveler, 9 Pochard, 586 Tufted Ducks, 4 Cormorants, 4 Grey Herons, 13 Little Grebes, 34 Great Crested Grebes, 18 Moorhens, 864 Coot and 84 Lapwings. A Stonechat was near the Nine-foot, a Willow Tit was at the feeding station and at least 3 Chiffchaffs were present. The gull roost was impressive but difficult to observe from the West Shore; a 2cy Caspian Gull and 3 (adult, 2cy, 1cy) Yellow-legged Gulls were seen (GE).

Thurs 20th A Peregrine and 2 Stonechats were present (PW).
Fri 21st

Norton Bog (GE)

Male Stonechat (GE)
4 Ravens, 2 Greylag Geese and 2 pairs of Stonechats were present (GE).
Sat 22nd The gull roost held 2 (2cy, 1cy) Caspian Gulls, 3 (adult, 2 2cy) Yellow-legged Gulls and 2 adult Mediterranean Gulls.
Sun 23rd The Ring-necked Parakeet is again roosting (and may have been throughout the year) and appeared at 17:50. A 1cy Caspian Gull and adult Mediterranean Gull also roosted.
Mon 24th A morning scan from the dam produced 2 Goosanders, 30 Great Crested Grebes, 8 Little Grebes, 57 Canada Geese and 8 Cormorants (GE).
Tues 25th No records
Wed 26th A 2cy Caspian Gull arrived to briefly bathe during the morning. A Kingfisher, 2 Stonechats, 20 Siskins, 10 Lesser Redpolls, 12 Skylarks, 10 Redwings, 2 Greylag Geese, 4 Gadwall and 2 Shovelers were present (GE). The Ring-necked Parakeet arrived at 17:45 and the gull roost held 2 (adult, 1cy) Caspian Gulls and 3 (2 adult, 3cy) Yellow-legged Gulls.
At Stubber's Green there was an adult Yellow-legged Gull (GE).
Thurs 27th No records
Fri 28th 2 (1cy, 2cy) Yellow-legged Gulls were off the dam at 09:25. A Peregrine, Raven, 2 Kestrels and 2 Stonechats were also present and 4 Common Darters were in flight (GE).

Sat 29th Two Wheatears were on the dam during the morning (GR).
Sun 30th The first 3 Goldeneye of the autumn and 3 Shovelers were on the main lake (GE, GR).
Mon 31st Two pairs of Stonechats and 2 Greylag Geese were noted (GE).
